Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American lawyer and writer who was employed by Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. In the past, she worked as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She is a weekly guest presenter on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Now. The Imus Breakfast Shows. The Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and raised at Yakima within Washington State, graduated in Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She also worked as a NPR legal reporter. She served as "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 to 2001. Wiehl served as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
