Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections of 2012 and in 2016. She has also served as a congressional correspondent based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she covered the congressional cycle and events such as the debates to increase the limit of federal credit or the deliberations of the super committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reports regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in 2007. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she reported on breaking news as well as produced feature stories to over 800 CNN Newsource members. She has worked at NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. The woman currently is a resident of New York City with her husband and two children.
