Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English singer/songwriter. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding swiftly brought her to the top charts once she drew the attention of the general public in the year 2010. The singer-songwriter was able to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack for composing catchy yet emotionally earnest tracks, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of contemporary mainstream music and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogging to printed media, garnering the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a contract. Her debut album was scheduled for release.
